students from Ghana in my ¡°Korea and the World¡± class. It was my
first time to make a foreign friend at school. She spoke Korean quite
wellbutshehaddifficultiesinunderstandingcomplicatedinformation
from HUFS websites written in Korean. Although she and her other
foreignfriendwhostayedKorealessthansixmonthsweretryingtheir
best to understand and speak Korean as international students, their
understanding was insufficient to allow them to understand all of the
