WhenIwalkedintoaroom,Ifeltscared.ThisiswhatIfeltwhenenteringTheArgusofficefor
the cub reporter interview in 2015. Although I thought I would not pass the interview, I became
a cub reporter. Now, I am the Editor-in-Chief. Since 2015, my entire university life cannot be
explainedwithoutTheArgus.
Actually, it feels like I have lived as the Editor-in-Chief of this magazine a lot longer than any
otherpositionthatIhavehadinmylife.Thissemester,TheArgushasgonethroughahardtime.
Starting from the April issue, a small number of reporters including me had to fill every page
of the magazine. Therefore, I sometimes felt scared, having this question in my mind, “Can we
complete this month’s issue?” However, I am now writing the last page of the last issue of this
semester!
Of course that The Argus made it to the last issue would not be possible unless I had my
wonderful reporters. To our editorial consultant and associate editor, I am sorry that I made you
sufferhardshipswithmethissemester.MygratitudeforyoumeansmorethanIcaneverexpress.
Youencouragedmeandhelpedmegoforwardineverydifficultmoment.Iwantyoutoknowthat
nothing has made me stronger than your efforts. To my cup reporters, it has been a joy to know
youandteachyou.IhopeyouwillenjoyeveryactivityatTheArgusnextsemester.Ifyoudoyour
besthere,greatthingsaresuretocome.
Toourreaderswhohavereadthearticles,joinedthequizzes,andshowedinterestsinourevents,
thankyou.Inthenextsemester,TheArguswillkeepdoingourbestasthegoodpress.
Since my term is over as this semester ends, I am about to leave The Argus for a while. I still
believe The Argus will go further when I am not here. Finally, I want to say thank you to The
Argus.IhavelearnedsomuchthankstoTheArgus.BeingtheEditor-in-Chiefhasbeenoneofthe
greatesthonorsofmylife.Now,IamabouttowalkoutofTheArgusoffice.Ifeelgrateful.Thank
youall.

This semester, I have often been watching other reporters work at a closer distance. They have
made The Argus issues with all their heart and I cannot describe how much effort they put to
makeevenasinglepage.Now,thesemesterisoverandIhopetheyenjoytheirsweetestmomentas
areporter.Moreover,IreallyhopeotherHUFSanswouldalsojoinandgetachancetofeelwhat
wefeltinTheArgus.

IthasbeenayearsinceIfirstsetfootonTheArgus.Beforehand,IneverimaginedIwouldcome
thisfar.Toeveryone’ssurprise,however,Imanagedtostickaround.
The main appeal of The Argus is that you never know what might strike you. Thanks to The
Argus, I have developed a hard core; to always be prepared for the worst case scenario and do
mybesttomaketheimpossiblepossible.Ihavealsolearnedthatmancanironicallyperformhis
bestathisworst.Aboveall,Iammostgratefultohavegainedsomeofthemosttrustworthyand
admirablecompanions,whohaveshownunparalleledlevelofsupportandhardworktomakeThe
Arguseverymonth.
