Letter to The Argus
ctually I read The Argus due to friend’s recommendation. At first, I thought it is

too thin to contain many information. Also, its size of font was very small so I
didn’thavegoodfeelingaboutTheArgus.However,asIstarttoreadthearticles,
IrealizedhowfunitistoreadTheArgus.
Especially,iffreshmen,likeme,readingthismagazinewillhelpthemalot.Iespecially
liked the article, Road Casting. I could learn how the foreign students think about Korea
fromtheirview.
ThebiggestmeritofTheArgusisthatitinformssocialproblemswhichhappenoutsideof
campus.Thearticle‘MissingChild’whichwaspublishedinthelastissuemademeaware
ofmissingchildrenproblemthatitisaseriousprobleminoursociety.
Reading these articles, the HUFSans will be more conscious of social problems. It is
importanttoknowstreamofsocialaspectaswellasstudying.
In addition, I have some expectations to The Argus. If The Argus delivers not only the
reporters of The Argus’s thoughts but also the HUFSan thoughts more, it will become a
bettermagazine.
