assume a critical voice for society as student journalists. As a university press,
TheArgusalsopromisesreadersthatwewilldeliverin-deptharticles.TheArgus
willcontinueitsbesteffortstoreportusefulinformationforreaders.Wewantto
becomemoreaccessibleandclosertoHUFSans.
Wehadbeenbrimmingoverwithego;thatmaycrumblebythesechanges.We
have been concerned about maintaining the traditions of The Argus. However,
wethoughtthatthemostimportantthingisTheArgusmembers’currentdesire.
Sowehaveendedupmakingadecisivedetermination.Itisnotdegenerationat
all;itisanevolution.
Our passion, what has made this newspaper, will never fail to ignite, even if
TheArgus’outwardappearancehaschanged.TheArgusnowlooksforwardto
new challenges and is giddy with excitement. At first glance, readers may feel
unfamiliarbuttheywillcertainlybefascinatedbyTheArgus!
