ModelUnitedNationsGeneralAssembly
TheModelUnitedNationsGeneralAssembly(MUNGA)isaspecialeventforHUFSanstofeelandexperience
theinternationalassembly.Startedin1958forthefirsttime,MUNGAwasthefirstscholaryeventthat
proceededinforeignlanguages.TheassemblyisheldannuallywithHUFSstudents,studentsfromother
prestigiousuniversities,andhonoredguestssuchasambassadorsfromdifferentcountries’participation.
MUNGAaimstomeettheidealsof“Liberty,Equality,Fraternity”oftheoriginalgeneralassemblyandjustlike
therealUNGeneralAssembly,eachstudentrepresentsacertaincountryoverasubject.Thestudentsassert
theiropinionsinthelanguageofthecountrytheyrepresent,andduringtheassemblyinterpretingin6official
UNlanguagesandKoreancontinues.Throughthisexperience,thestudentsareabletonotonlyimprovetheir
linguisticskillsbutalsolearnabouttheinternationalcontroversyanddifferentcountriesstandpoints.

Therearevariouslanguagedepartmentsin
HUFS.Someofthemarewellknownandsome
ofthemareofrelativelyminorrecognition.To
learnaboutalanguage,studentsneedabundant
resourcesthatcanhelpthem.However,these
