lives. The meaning of the cafe’s name is twofold. First, it stands for leisure in HUFS college life. HUFSans are often swamped
withschoolworkandjobsearching.Thespaceisaretreatfromallthis,remindingusthatweneedtorelaxsometimes.Second,the
namestandsforregionalcommunity.ImunisnottheidentityofjustHUFSans,butalsoofourneighbors.Theyarejustaswelcome
tothestoreasHUFSansare.
ThemanagerofImun107,HwangJu-yeon(42),said,“Thisisaplaceforeveryone.ByaccommodatingbothHUFSansandthe
Imunneighborhood,wehopetobringthelocalcommunitytogether.Wejustwantpeopletovisitandenjoyculture.”
Hwang explained further, “This is a place aimed to suit all the cultural needs a person can have. If it is coffee that you are
lookingfor,thereisacafe.Ifitisreadingthatyouwanttodo,therearebooks.Formusic,weprovideweeklyperformances.For
lifeimprovement,weholdlectureseveryweek.Thebestthing?Theprogramsthemselvesarefree.”

Like many of the cafes surrounding HUFS, there is a place

study away. There are seats that resemble a study hall for
those that want to quietly study. A bit apart from this area,

Thecafeoffersawiderangeofbeveragesandaselectionof
sandwiches. It is a refreshing change from the rather clinical
bookstorethatoncestoodinthecafe’splace.

beginning of each semester, students would queue up to
buy their textbooks for the semester. After the shift from

bookspace,andthespacecannolongerholdallthebooks
