¡°Theyremovetheclawsfromapetcatbecausethey
worry the animal may slide around on the tile or
woodenfloors.Butacatwilloftenlickitsclawsto
keepthisfromhappening,sode-clawingthemisn¡¯t
necessaryandcanactuallybeharmfulforthem.¡±
Parkalsovolunteersasananimalrescuer,though
he says injured animals can be dangerous as they
are often mistrustful of humans. ¡°They question
your motives. They wonder why you want to help,
