It was a tremendous time working as a reporter for The
Argus. The word ¡°reporter¡± and my press card always made
me think of the value and the responsibility it carried. I felt
the responsibility of being a journalist, and I was happy and
honoredtopublishmywritingsinTheArgus,whichhasalong
historyandfame.Intheprocessofwritingarticles,Ilearnedso
many things. I learned how to write, think, and see the world.
Reading other reporters¡¯ articles also made me see a reality I
didnotknow.Findingin-depthcontentandinterviewingexperts
wasathrillingexperiencethatIcouldnevergetanywhereelse.
Although I struggled a lot, couldn¡¯t sleep, and doubted myself
often, the struggles were worth it, and they will last forever in
mymind.Itwasadreamliketimeworkingwithmycolleagues.
I love these people so much, and I am looking forward to the

Firstandforemost,itwasmygreathonortobeastaffreporter
of The Argus. As a reporter in the social section, I have
dealt with the fairness of fair trade, the tragedy of the Russo-
Ukrainian War, the unique age counting system in Korea, and
the adverse effects of the centralization of Seoul capital area.
The articles that I wrote were invaluable in that the process of
planningandwritingthearticlesrequiredcooperation.Ihadat
least two interviews with professors or experts in related fields
and 6 editorial conferences for each article with my colleague
reporters. All of my fellow reporters were so kind and helped
me so much giving insights and constructive feedback that I
couldn¡¯t think of by myself. I have no doubt that becoming a
reporterforTheArgusisoneofthebestchoicesthatImadein
myuniversitylife.
