Recently, I have come to enjoy watching movies alone. When I feel down, I impulsively buy a

like I am in a vacuum, which make me feel stable. I have watched the movies “Soulmate” and
“Everything Everywhere All at Once” in the last few weeks. I sometimes join movie discussion
events.Atsuchevents,thedirectorandactorstalkaboutthestorylineandcharactersofamovie.
After that, the audience members share their reviews. Watching a movie with strangers and
sharingsimilaremotionswiththemmakesmydailylifefullofhappiness.

What I love to do these days is drinking a can of beer at the end of the day. I am not a heavy
drinker,butdrinkingacanofbeerbeforesleephasbecomemyownritualtoperfectlyendaday.

myhardwork.Itfeelsasifallmyworriesarewashedaway.RecallingmyrecenttriptoSapporo,
which was just like a dream on a winter day, I pour a can of beer into the beer glass I bought
duringthattrip.Myimaginationtransportsme;Istepoutofmydailylifeandthrowmyselfinto
thesnowofSapporopiledupastallasIwas.Beerismyclosestbuddy,whichhelpsmedreamand
rechargemyself.ItisabithilariousthatIfeellikeIampretendingtoactasa“true”adult,though.

I have been on a dessert kick lately. To be clear, I am not “eating” dessert, but I am “craving”
dessert with every meal. I am tracking my daily calorie intake. Since desserts are as high as a
mealincalories,Ihavetobrushmyteethtoquellmycraving.Bread,icecream,crisps,chocolate...
Afterhavinganythingsaltyandspicy,youwillfindmereachingfortheseonautomaticreflex.But
Iamproudofmyself-controlandhavenothaddessertinawhile...exceptyesterday!

of 2022, I lost my way. (I agree that my improved writing skills from working for The Argus
woulddefinitelypavewayformyfuture,butIamnotinterestedinbeingareporterorajournalist.)
With an indefinite plan, I entered the student economic association, KUSEA (Korea University
Students Economic Association), because I thought humans are often detached from economics.

workinthetradingindustry.Therefore,Iamobsessedwithstudyingeconomicsnow.

Lately I have lost myself in Kuromi, a Japanese character. Kuromi and I have many similarities.
Kuromi hates scary things, such as ghosts, and really likes writing diary entries and reading
romance novels as I do. Although she has a hot-tempered personality, Kuromi’s silliness and
cutenessarealwaysendearing.Asaresult,myroomisfullofKuromiitems.Ihopepeopleallover
theworlddiscoverhercharmandfallinlovewithher.
