Double Major Program
HUFS firmly believes that foreign language acquisition alone cannot be the sole purpose of study in the era
of globalization. HUFS offers multidisciplinary education: students are encouraged to pursue a professional
field, like management, law, science, or engineering, based on foreign language fluency. Multidisciplinary
education at HUFS suggests a new paradigm in university education and cultivates global professionals who
exercise their capabilities with confidence and unparalleled global acumen on the world stage.
Global Talents with Foreign Language Fluency and Professional Knowledge
HUFS introduced the Double Major Program for all freshmen in 2007, under which
students choose a second major in addition to the one they chose at the time of
matriculation.
