Global Program
HUFS has been raising its competitiveness while making a difference amid constant change and
tremendous diversification. It is a center for global education that actively helps students develop not only
language ability but also a global mindset and acumen. Proposing wider and more diverse ways to advance
in the world, HUFS supports individual students in their development as globally competitive talents.
Student Exchange Program

Studying at HUFS
The Student Exchange Program dispatches students to sister universities abroad for
a certain period of time. HUFS has mutual cooperation agreements on student and

credit exchange with many universities throughout the world. Student who study at

sister universities obtain credits that can be transferred to HUFS. In some cases,
subsidies are provided to cover dormitory and other expenses. Students can go to

various regions where their languages of focus are used, such as English, French,

Taiwanese, Thai, Japanese, or Malay-Indonesian.
Dual Degree Program
This program enables students to study and obtain bachelor’s degrees both at HUFS

and a foreign university under an academic exchange agreement. HUFS signed an
agreement with the University of Delaware in the United States according to which
students can obtain degrees both from HUFS and the University of Delaware after
two years of study at each university. They can then get a job in the United States
