weeks. ¡°Take Good Care of Mom¡± by Sin Kyung-
suk sold more than 1.2 million copies, breaking one

works of literature especially attracted many Korean
readerslastyear.Koreanliteraryworksalsocarrieda
greatdealofweightonthebookmarketlastyear.For

Does this mean that Korean literature market has
a bright future though? On the bestseller lists from
