he Open Air Theater on the Seoul campus was built in 1987 and it has been used as a resting and
recreationalplaceforHUFSanseversince.StudentsgettogetherattheOpenAirTheaterandtalk,eat,
drink,orsing.Eventhoughitisquitesmallcomparedtootheruniversities’openairtheaters,ithasbeen
usedforperformancesandeventsforovertwentyyears.Also,intheundergroundoftheOpenAirTheater,there
areseveralroomsfordongaris,suchasCrimsonRed,theFederationofOedaePungmul,andothers.
However,theOpenAirTheaterwillbetorndownduringMay,anditwilltakeaboutthreemonthsforittobe
completelygone.Whatisworse,anumberofHUFSansdonotknowanythingaboutthis.Theyarenotinformed
aboutthedemolition.Also,problemsregardingtheremovaloftheOpenAirTheaterhavealreadyoccurred.
