on the students’ experiences and interests without the help of
companies or organizations, ‘Let’s Gather Kkal-kkali’ had a
toughwaytocome.“Theworkwearedoingisspecial,because
we added our own experience in Cambodia and our passion
as a university student,” answered Kwon, Jang and Park to
the question about the difference from other students’ extra-
curricular activities. “I’m sure that every university student
has a will to do something special for the society, and I hope
students will go into action like me,” added Park. The fact
that they do not have strict rules to follow, an end date of the
activity, an official supervisor that tells them the way, and a
company’s taste that they have to consider when planning are
alsodifferencesthatmakesthemtrulyenjoythiscampaign.
“I hope those who get to know about our campaign will be
able to wear a smile. After all, our ultimate goal is to make
a positive impact on the society,” said Kwon at the end of the
interview. These students’ words prove the introduction ‘Let’s
Gather Kkal-kkali’ starts with: “This campaign is managed
by seven Pusan National University students who wishes to
do an exciting and meaningful job. We do not belong to any
kindoforganizationorcompany.”Nobodypushedthestudents
to do this activity; they started it by their will, which is why
theyfacedalotofobstaclesandchanges.Wouldn’tthisbethe
reasonwhytheirpassionseemsbrighterthanothers?
