HUFSalumniaresecond-to-none!
Duringmystudentreporteryears,I’veexperiencedthe50thanniversaryofTheArgusandHUFS.I’vedecidedthatIwanttodoprojectsthatencourageHUFSanstobroadenourschool’sfame.WhatcomestoyourmindwhenyouthinkofHankukUniversityof
ForeignStudies?YoucanimaginetheHUFSanswhoareworkingintheirownfieldsallovertheworld.Thisproject,“MeetAlumniworldwide”wasdesignednotjustforthecelebrationofour50thanniversary,butalsotocelebratethosewhohaveshownthe
individualdedicationofHUFS.Onthisproject,over17Argusianstaffmembershaveworkeddiligentlyoverthepast6months,inpreparationforourproject;wehavecometorealizethatthealumnisystemlacksorganizationanddefinition.Thislackoforganization
hasmadeitdifficulttocommunicatewitheachalumniassociation. Asaresultoftheseefforts,wehavebeenfortunatetorecieveinvitationsfromsixcountries,aswellaseightalumniassociations.SeveralofourTheArgusstaffmemberswereinvitedtoviewand
reportonthelivesofalumniresidingoverseas.Wealsohadtheopportunitytoreviewforeignuniversities’newspapersandcampuslifefor10days.Thousandsofouralumniworkforlarge,medium,andsmallbusinesses,high-techfirms,hotels,hospitals,
restaurants,andmedicalfacilitiesaroundtheworld.TheyareveryproudtobeaHUFSan.Itwasanenlighteningexperiencetovisitouralumni;wethemembersofTheArgusstaffhopethatyousharetheHUFSanpride.
